Reverend Victorson was pastor at First Lutheran from January, 2002 until June 2011. He was ordained in 1971 after graduating from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. His first call was to Trinity Lutheran in Castleton-on-Hudson. Subsequently he would serve parishes in Utica and Williamsville, New York before coming to Albany in 2000. Pastor and his wife, Kay, live in Albany and have three grown children.

Pastor Victorson believed that First Lutheran is poised for resurgence as a center for ministry in the name of Jesus in this time and in this place. He was most confident that with Christ at the center First Lutheran has much to give in the community, the church and the world.

Pastor Victorson is now enjoying retirement, and First Lutheran is actively looking for a pastor to continue our ministry.
